Congratulations to Mr Heinrich Jessen, Businessman of the Year!

26 Apr Congratulations to Mr Heinrich Jessen, Businessman of the Year!

The Singapore Institute of International Affairs would like to congratulate Mr Heinrich Jessen, chairman of Jebsen & Jessen (SEA) for bagging the top award at the 32nd Singapore Business Awards (SBA) on Tuesday (25 April 2017) night.

Mr Jessen was awarded Businessman of the Year, the top award of the evening, for building his family business into a regional powerhouse comprising seven core business units.

Jebsen & Jessen has been a corporate member of the SIIA since 2010, actively supporting the Institute’s ASEAN programme over the years. Mr Jessen has also been personally involved in SIIA’s work, speaking at flagship events and supporting the institute’s programmes as a donor.

The SIIA would also like to extend a warm congratulations to another member, Mr Goh Choon Phong, CEO of Singapore Airlines, who was named Outstanding Chief Executive of the Year, at the SBA. He was awarded this for his role in repositioning the airline group to better tackle industry headwinds for the long term.
