Dr. Steinbock is Research Director of International Business at the India, China and America Institute (ICA). His activities focus on international business and international relations among the most advanced economies and the large emerging economies. He divides his time between New York City, Shanghai and occasionally in Helsinki.
Dr. Steinbock’s contributions have been published from The National Interest to American Foreign Policy Interest, both leading US foreign policy journals. Along with Columbia’s Joseph Stieglitz and Harvard’s Dan Rodrik, his works have been published by China & World Economy, China’s leading economic journal. He has also published in the International Review by Shanghai’s leading think-tank, as well as Strategic Innovators, a leading Indian innovation journal by IIPM. A senior Fulbright scholar, he is an affiliate of the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness (Prof M.E. Porter, Harvard Business School); Faculty Spokesman for the Forum to Advance Mobile Experience (FAME), an initiative by the CMO Council, representing 2,000 leading technology firms; and an affiliate of the Columbia Institute for Tele-Information (CITI).
