Since 2000, the Millennium Development Goals have provided a global framework for improving the lives of millions of impoverished women, men and children. The 2015 deadline for their realisation is approaching. Just as we press as hard as possible to achieve them, we must also ensure that there is an agreed path forward for the work that remains after 2015.
What should this new post-2015 framework be? How should it be developed? What are the key lessons from the Millennium Development Goals that can inform the post 2015 development agenda? How can Asian governments, parliaments and people play a strong role to contribute to the development of the new framework?
