Updated On: Sep 16, 2008

Three of the five Filipina aid workers kidnapped by Islamic militants in Southern Philippines were recently released.

All five worked for the Christian Children's Fund and the Nagdilaab Foundation, a Christian-Muslim charity, and were kidnapped in Abu Sayyaf territory, a terrorist group which military officials claim has links with Osama bin Laden's Al-Qaeda.
