Asia's two biggest democracies strengthened ties by signing over US$15bn of trade deals on Monday, reports AFP.
The pacts were signed on a visit to India by Indonesian president Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.
Indian companies, led by billionaires Gautam Adani and G.V. Krishna Reddy, signed 18 pacts in areas spanning infrastructure, manufacturing, services and others.
Trade between the two countries has tripled from US$4bn in 2005 to US$12bn today.
