PM: Singapore "bridge" between China, ASEAN

Singapore's Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong embarks today on a week-long trip to China. In advance, he has stressed that Singapore hopes to play a bridging role between China and ASEAN, citing the Singapore-China FTA, which he described as a "pathfinder" for the subsequent ASEAN-China FTA.

Singapore and China will celebrate 20 years of diplomatic relations this year.
