The annual Singapore Corporate Awards (SCA) yesterday recognised 29 companies and seven individuals for their high quality of corporate governance and disclosure.
OCBC Bank bagged the top gold prize for Best Managed Board Award and its former CEO, David Conner, who retired in April, took home the Best Chief Executive Officer title for large-cap companies. He shared the honour with Mr Tan Pheng Hock of Singapore Technologies Engineering.
Property developer CapitaLand Ltd clinched the Best Investor Relations Award for large caps, while the Best Chief Financial Officer Award for large caps went to Singapore Post's Ng Hin Lee. The winners for Best Annual Report Awards were Keppel Land, Banyan Tree Holdings and Qian Hu Corporation.
The SCA is organised by The Business Times and supported by the Singapore Exchange.
