We are searching for the best candidates for the following positions to support our management:

 

 

1. Policy Research Analyst (Sustainability)

(Title and Remuneration will commensurate with applicant’s qualification and experience)

 

Job Description

  • Assist in the conceptualization and coordination of Sustainability Programme, including the organization of forums, conferences, dialogues and external meetings;
  • Conduct research on Sustainability and other pertinent issues, including development of programme proposals, special reports, newspaper commentaries, background documents, and updates to senior management. These reports and briefings are to provide analyses, evaluations and recommendations – whether to policy makers and experts on public issues, or as private advisory work for corporations;
  • Drive outreach to Sustainability stakeholders, both local and international, to build strong partnerships and for sponsorship engagement;
  • Assist Chairman and Directors with research material for events and speaking engagements, including preparation of talking points and presentations;
  • Any other duties, which the Management may call upon you to perform from time to time.

 

Requirements

  • Have a good Honours degree in any discipline;
  • Have at least 2 years of related experience;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English;
  • Initiative, eye for details and a team player, practice good interpersonal communication skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure, short deadlines and extra hours if needed on assignments;
  • Computer skills with proficient in MS Office applications and comfortable with social media;

3. Marketing and Communications Manager

(Title and Remuneration will commensurate with applicant’s qualification and experience)

 

Job Description

  • Implement and enhance effective branding and marketing strategies for events and programs in line with the Institute’s mission and goals;
  • Prepare and present proposals for sponsorships and funding of events and programs;
  • Develop and implement effective membership acquisition for new members;
  • Enhance corporate presentation materials and marketing collaterals including brochures and publicity materials;
  • Develop and coordinate SIIA’s programmes and events plans;
  • Any other duties, which the Management may call upon you to perform from time to time.

 

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing Communications / Marketing / Business related subject;
  • Preferably 5 years of relevant experience in a marketing and communications role;
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English;
  • Initiative, eye for details and a team player;
  • Ability to work under pressure, short deadlines and extra hours if needed on assignments;
  • Computer skills with proficient in MS Office applications and comfortable with social media;
  • Experience in overseeing collateral production, marketing and PR activities, and project management are an advantage.
