14 May SIIA congratulates Dr Yeo Lay Hwee, winner of ASEF Diversity Creates Award 1997-2017
The Singapore Institute of International Affairs would like to congratulate Dr. Yeo Lay Hwee, Director, European Union Centre in Singapore, for winning the inaugural Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) Diversity Creates Award 1997-2017. Dr. Yeo is concurrently Council Secretary and Senior Research Fellow at the SIIA.
The ASEF Diversity Creates Award 1997-2017 honours individuals and institutions who have made outstanding contributions in promoting greater mutual understanding, civil society cooperation, and improving connectivity between the people of Asia and Europe.
The Award was launched on 1 February 2018, in conjunction with the 21st anniversary of the ASEF, and the winners were announced on Friday, 11 May 2018.
